Awareness of Environmental Protection and Low-carbon Practice
The 7000 square-meter rooftop of CHERVON's R&D Center is covered with green plants. Overlooking the center, we see a scene of green vitality. People of the CHERVON group feel proud of this green roof, which is currently one of the largest "all rooftop green garden systems."
CHERVON introduced this German system in 2004 and installed it on the roof of the R&D Building. The design alleviates the heat-island effect and reduces discharge pressure during rainstorms. It can also slow down the aging of buildings caused by leaking and UV exposure, thus extending the durability of rooftops by up to five times. Most important, it can reduce energy consumption. The energy saved each year for each square meter of our green rooftop is equal to five liters of petroleum.

Charity: We are Together
“Support all goodness, no matter how small; counter all evil no matter how insignificant it may seem.” CHERVON is an activist on behalf of charity, which we hold as every citizen's responsibility and duty.
CHERVON donates to support the areas devastated by the Wenchuan and Yushu earthquakes. A CHERVON scholarship and assistantship are established at Nanjing University of Science & Technology. Our personnel voluntarily donate blood every year; and we help our colleagues in trouble. We participate in various programs aimed at solving social problems and we encourage our employees to get involved in public welfare activities to make contributions to our society.
